Abstract

Firstly, graphene oxide(GO) was bonded to silane coupling agent(KH-550) through chemical grafting to synthesize amino-silanes modified graphene oxide, and its structure was characterized by FT-IR.The amino-silanes modified graphene oxide was then used to prepare modified polyaspartic ester(PAE) with 4, 4’-diaminodicyclohexylmethane(PACM) and diethyl maleate(DM) via Michael addition reaction. The effect of preparation technics on the addition reaction was studied. Moreover, the polyurea coating was prepared by GO modified PAE and aliphatic polyisocyanate curing agent N3390, and the performance and electrochemical performance of the films were tested. It was found that the polyurea films exhibited good heat resistance and resistance when the dosage of graphene oxide was 1.5%, and molar ratio of DM and PACM was 1.85. The results showed that polyurea coatings based on GO/PAE was expected to be used as metal anticorrosive coatings.
