Abstract

The automobile painting weld sealant process base on lean production was studied. Four rules were generated to guide how to define weld sealant in a lean way. By conducting the rules in new model car design,there were 29.40 meters long weld sealant reduced and the cost was cut by $ 29.43. Therefore, the purpose of cutting the cost and improving the quality was targeted the four lean rules.
