Abstract

The common problems and analysis of liquid damping material(LASD)in the application process of automotive coating are discussed.For example,the interference between the robot bracket and the body affects the spraying,the cracking of the wet film after the material is sprayed and the quality caused by the hanging of the glue gun nozzle.It was found that the use of the 120°bracket helps to avoid interference with the vehicle body during the robot spraying process,meeting the spray specifications and improving the spray quality.The cracking caused by LASD wet film placement will reduce the damping performance of the coating.Compared with no cracking,the loss factor of the cracked coating will decrease by 15.4%-27.8%.The problem of cracking can be effectively solved by optimizing the formulation and strengthening the on-site management.The defects caused by the hanging of the glue gun nozzle during the spraying process have a great relationship with the material production process control.
