According to the requirements of national policies,the application of water-based coatings on railway wagons has become inevitable.The coating process and precautions of waterborne coatings for railway wagons are introduced.The usage recommendations based on process and technical issues that arise during use are proposed,and technical references for the application of waterborne coatings on railway wagons are given.
