The method of vehicle type identification system for electrophoretic paint automatic line in multitype collinear production process is introduced,and the discrimination method based on digital image segmentation and feature matching is proposed,which includes process of image segmentation,feature extraction,feature recognition and so on.In the process,the vehicle type can be identified by forming different images of local changes in the structure of different vehicle types.
