The theoretical causes of shrinkage in the painting process of passenger car solid color topcoat areintroduced. Through analysis of actual cases, the common factors of shrinkage are derived and correspondingsolutions are formulated accordingly. Solving the shrinkage defects of the paint film requires the joint efforts ofthe supplier and the construction party, mutual cooperation, and the importance of strengthening themanagement of painting technicians.
