Abstract

Electrodeposition coating is applied by electrolysis, electrophoresis, electrodeposition, etc. under the action of a direct current electric field by an aqueous colloidal dispersion. Electrodeposition has great potential for painting and is also the basis of electroplating and electroforming. The development of electrodeposition solves a series of problems in traditional painting systems, and the influences of magnetic field on electrodeposition and magnetic field electrodeposition are briefly described. The research progress, the influences of magnetic field direction on electrodeposition, and the influences of magnetic field on bathing performance and surface morphology, alloy chemical composition, current efficiency and microstructure are discussed.
