With the acceleration of global economic integration,the competition in domestic passenger car market is more and more fierce.The traditional management concept and production mode can not meet the production requirements of modern enterprises.Lean production is one of the way of production organization and management of the world,which is the most suitable management theory for vehicle manufacturers.The implementation and application of the production management mode based on lean thinking with the coating workshop as the carrier are discussed.
