Advances in the Research of Strippable Film in Nuclear Industry

Abstract

In the current nuclear industry,the removal of radioactive contamination from nuclear facilities and the soil carrying them has always been the focus of research.At present,the main nuclear contamination removal methods include chemical method,physical method,electrochemical method,microbial method,melting method,super compression method and so on.Among them,the decontamination method by stripping film suppression which belongs to one of chemical methods has been favored by researchers and operators because of its advantages of simple operation,environmental protection,mechanized operation,and the dual role of suppressing and eliminating radioactive pollution in recent decades.In this paper,the research progress of the application of strippable film materials in nuclear industry is reviewed,the existing problems of strippable film are summarized in order to improve its development.
