Abstract

In order to adapt to the harsh natural environment in the northwest region and make full use of the wind resources in the northwest region, a polyurethane coatings for turbine blade with excellent wear-resistance and weather-resistance was developed. The coatings was prepared with polyester polyol prepolymer, polyisocyanate trimer, pigments and fillers. The effects of different polyester polyol prepolymers, curing agents, pigments, fillers and auxiliaries on coating properties were discussed. The results showed that the performance of the coating was the best when the molar ratio of polycaprolactone diol, triol, polycaprolactone tetraol was 4 ∶ 5 ∶ 1,the curing agent was N3390, and the pigment and filler were nano-zinc oxide and nano-silica, titanium dioxide, the pigment/binder ratio was about 0.8, additives were BYK-161, BYK-306, BYK-054 and light stabilizers were Tinuvin1130 and Tinuvin292.
