Abstract

With epoxy resin,methacrylic acid,trimethylolpropane diallyl ether(TMPDE)fumaric acid and catalyst,polymerization inhibitor,a new type of vinyl ester resin was synthesized through the reaction of the epoxy resin with fumaric acid at a certain temperature and by adding methacrylic acid to end-capping.This resin was sued to prepare an anticorrosion coating.Various properties of this anticorrosion coating were studied.
