In this paper,the application potential of the machine vision technology in the field of painting was discussed based on the experiences through the practice of the machine vision technology in automobile painting innovation projects.Additionally/the basic principle of the machine vision and the process of HACLON jointed with C#programming was briefly introduced.And that the working method and effects of the machine vision error prevention under the condition of existing painting equipment were further investigated.
