This paper introduces a kind of heavy-duty coating used for steel structure of construction machinery equipment in China.Through the comparison with ordinary solvent-based coatings in the coating physical and chemical properties,coating supporting system,construction technology,technical-economic cost and other aspects,the heavy-duty coating has excellent comprehensive performance,good adaptability of the coating process.It can meet the long-term protection requirement of 5~15 years under the current extreme environment of construction machinery industry,has the feasibility of application in the construction machinery industry.
