Hydroxyl acrylic resin secondary dispersion is a kind of resin with self-emulsifying function in water.It can be combined with amino resin to form a two-component high-temperature baking coatings,and mixed with isocyanates to form an acrylic polyurethane two-component coatings,which is one of the important raw materials of waterborne coatings.The secondary dispersion of high solid and low viscosity hydroxyl acrylic resin has the excellent performance,such as hardness,fullness,gloss,weather resistance,environmental protection,and advantages of low transportation cost,easier storage and uses etc.The research progress in the synthesis of secondary dispersion of hydroxyl acrylic resin with high solid and low viscosity was reviewed.The influence of solvent,,monomer,initiator and preparation process on the synthetic products was analyzed in detail to provide a guidance for the synthesis and further application of secondary dispersion.
