Powder coating has the characteristics of good mechanical properties,high powder recovery and low VoC,which is favored when build new production line.From the perspective of mainframe factory of heavy industry,combined with the needs and experience of the new intlligent coating production line,from the aspects of the introduction of powder coating,the advantages and disadvantages of powder coating in the application of heavy industry and the solutions of powder coating were analyzed,and the application of powder coating in the heavy industry was expounded,especially in the new production line in recent years.
