A new high-performance low temperature waterborne acrylic electroplating varnish was prepared with waterborne acrylic resin as the base resin,together with crosslinking agent amino resin.The effects of the type and amount of silane coupling agent and waterborne acrylic resin on the paint film properties were investigated,and compared with high temperature waterborne electroplating varnish in the market.The results showed that the electroplating varnish could be quickly crosslinked and cured at 110℃,it had excellent overall performance such as hardness,gloss,permeability,salt spray resistance and adhesion,and could reach the performance of high-temperature aqueous electroplating varnish.
