B ased on practical experience,the pig m ent orientation m echanism of waterborne alum inum powder paint in the field of autom otive repair paint and various possible factors affecting the orientation of alum inum powder were expounded from the perspective of form ula and application,including a series of com plete processes from raw m aterial selection and m atching,form ula desig n and optim ization,to the setting and control of construction application conditions.It is com bed and sum m arized in popular term s and practical ways,which provides som e possible directions and sug g estions for the developm ent of waterborne m etal alum inum powder paint form ulations,especially the developm ent of waterborne autom otive repair alum inum powder prim er,and can also be used as a reference for waterborne pearlescent paint.
